Sheffield Mutual Friendly Society reveals the final ten for their annual Charity Award!

The Charity Award, launched in 2017, aims to support charities and community groups. At the beginning of May, Sheffield Mutual asked its members and the public to nominate their favourite charities. When the nomination process ended, their charity team shortlisted the nominees down to the final ten. The voting for the top three is now open!

The final ten charities are as follows: Bluebell Wood, The Choir With No Name, Fareshare Yorkshire, Guide Dogs, Matthew’s A Friend In Me, Men Walk Talk, Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust, St Luke’s Sheffield Hospice and The Donkey Sanctuary.

2023 Charity Award 2nd place winners, CLAPA

The voting will close on 31 October 2024 and the winners will be announced shortly after. The Charity Award makes donations to the top three charities, as voted for by the public. The donation amounts are as follows:

1st place: £5,000
2nd place: £1,500
3rd place: £1,000
