Supporting Sheffield Mind – Our Chosen Charity of the Year
At Sheffield Mutual, we are proud to announce that our staff have chosen Sheffield Mind as our Charity of the Year. This decision reflects our collective commitment to supporting mental health initiatives and promoting well-being in our community.
About Sheffield Mind
Sheffield Mind is a registered charity dedicated to providing emotional and practical support to individuals across Sheffield facing mental health challenges. Their services include counselling, support groups, and specialist projects designed to improve mental well-being.
One of their standout initiatives is the Magpies Project, which offers support to individuals affected by hoarding behaviours. Through practical assistance and emotional support, the project helps people regain control over their living spaces and their lives.
Our Commitment
Throughout the year, we are supporting Sheffield Mind through a range of fundraising and awareness initiatives, including:
· Fundraising Activities: Following our recent headline sponsorship of the Sheffield Half Marathon, we are excited to continue our support as the headline sponsor of the Sheffield 10K later this year. This event will not only raise funds for Sheffield Mind but also help promote physical and mental well-being in the region.
· Volunteering Opportunities: Our team will be dedicating time to volunteer with Sheffield Mind, helping to support their services and events.
· Donations: Sheffield Mutual is also making financial contributions to assist Sheffield Mind in continuing and expanding their essential services.
