Your right to cancel

You can cancel your policy by giving notice in writing and returning the policy documents within 30 days of the policy issue date. You will then be entitled to a refund of your payments subject to a deduction/increase of the amount (if any), by which the value if your investment has fallen/risen at the time the request is received and processed by the team. This can take up to 10 working days.

Other ways to pay

  • You can call the office to make a payment by debit card over the phone. 
  • Send a bank payment to NatWest bank: Sheffield Mutual Friendly Society: Sort code: 53-61-04 Account number: 60750057 quoting your name as a reference.
  • Enclose a signed cheque payable to "Sheffield Mutual". You can also include the Policyholder in the payee section to safeguard against fraud e.g. "Sheffield Mutual re John Smith".
