Sheffield Mutual Friendly Society is pleased to confirm a new sponsorship deal with The Bradfield Brewery Sheffield Steeldogs for the 2018/19 ice hockey season.
The Society has joined the Steeldogs as the official puck sponsor and as player sponsor to Aaron Jepson.
The Sheffield Steeldogs are a semi-professional ice hockey team founded in 2010 and are based at iceSheffield. The Steeldogs currently ply their trade in the National Ice Hockey League North, the Moralee Conference.
Steeldogs co-owner Robin Grayson said: “Sheffield Steeldogs are very pleased to be partnered with an organisation that has such a long running place in the local community. We hope this will be the start of a long term relationship and we look forward to welcoming them at the game against the Hull Pirates in December”.
Sheffield Mutual Finance Director, Jamie Bellamy added: "The Society is delighted to be supporting the Steeldogs in the 2018/19 season. The Society is now the match night puck sponsor, as well as sponsoring talented prospect, Aaron Jepson, and the highly anticipated home fixture with the Hull Pirates on December 21st.
In line with our history, heritage and ethical values, Sheffield Mutual is committed to helping good causes and sponsoring local teams to benefit the wider community. The work that the Steeldogs do with the schools and community programme reaffirmed our interest and we look forward to keeping a close eye on the team's progress over the season."
