The Role

You’ll be a key member of the busy customer services team and in addition to administering new and existing policies; you’ll be trained, developed and accredited so you’re equipped with the skills to deal with more complex policy claims made by our customers. The role involves usual admin duties as well as database management, preparing documentation, payment processing and policy surrenders. The role enables you to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. You will have lots of variety including telephone, email, on-line chat and face-to-face contacts and you will need to deal with customer queries in an efficient and timely manner. You will progress through the different roles within the team to enhance your knowledge and have the ability to become a senior administrator.

About You

You’ll need to be a good communicator, accurate, reliable, enthusiastic, calm under pressure and quick to learn new things. Previous experience in financial services isn’t essential, but we’re keen to hear from you if you’ve had a customer service and / or administrative background.

Requirements

  • At least one years experience in administration/customer service
  • Financial Services experience helpful but not essential
  • Literacy and numeracy skills
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Organisational skills
  • Good communications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft products

Salary Range and package

  • Starting date January / February 2024
  • Starting at £22,500 with increases following training
