A Poem for Sheffield Mutual by Ian McMillan

Posted on January 1, 2018

A strong pair of hands to hold your money tight,

To keep it working hard even while you dream

Of retirement or holidays. A first class flight,

A fortnight at Wimbledon, strawberries and cream.

Yorkshire people know the value of thrift

So we’ll make sure your money is put to good use.

We are the lifetime savings and the grandkids’ gift:

We are the golden eggs and, yes, we are the goose.

And this feeling’s mutual;

Sheffield Mutual.

We’ve been looking after folks for years and years.
