Sheffield Mutual would be delighted to work with other businesses and organisations for our mutual benefit and the wider society which we serve.

Financial Advisers (IFAs)

We currently pay IFAs commission on advised sales, but this will cease on 31 December 2012 due to the Retail Distribution Review.

From 1 January 2013 we will continue to pay commission on confirmed non-advised (execution only) sales of investment products and on advised sales of pure protection products.

For advised sales of investment products from 1 January 2013 we will offer a £50 donation to a charity chosen by the Society or nominated by your client (conditions will apply).

Insurance & Mortgage Brokers

If you are not authorised to give investment advice, you could make referrals to the Society in return for an agreed introducer fee or alternatively we will make an equivalent donation to a charity of your choice for every new policy sold.

Professional Firms (Solicitors & Accountants)

Many of your clients would benefit from our products and in return for client referrals we will pay either an agreed introducer fee or alternatively we will make an equivalent donation to a charity of your choice for every new policy sold.

Clubs & Societies

As a membership organisation like ourselves, you may wish to consider simply distributing our literature to your members and in return we will support your fundraising by making an agreed donation to your club or society for every new policy sold.
