Sickness & Accident Plan
Sheffield Mutual aims to provide not only first-rate investment performance, but also financial protection and peace of mind to our members. Our sickness and accident insurance policy is designed to provide an income should you be unable to carry out your normal working duties as a result of illness or injury.
It is available to anyone aged between 16 and 55 next birthday who is undertaking full or part time work on either an employed or self employed basis.
How reassuring to know that you can rely on receiving as much as 50% of your normal monthly income in the unfortunate event of sickness or injury. Cover is available in units of £50 per month with a minimum of two units and a maximum of 10. Ten units would provide a monthly benefit of £500.
Claims are simple to make and if you are paying your own premiums the benefits are tax free. And you can choose how to pay your premiums, monthly or annually.
