NEW Capital Plan 2nd Issue

15th April 2010

We’ve just re-launched our unique Capital Plan, which combines the popular Tax Exempt Savings Plan (TESP) with a feeder account provided in association with the Mansfield Building Society.

A lump sum of £2,500, together with the interest earned on the feeder account, is designed to fund 10 annual payments of £270 into the TESP, with no need for you to worry about making your own regular payments. With a guaranteed tax-free sum assured of £2,914, the Capital Plan could provide an immediate benefit of £414 if held until maturity – even without the addition of any annual bonuses.

The Capital Plan may be ideal for people who want to earn a competitive guaranteed rate on a lump sum for several years, whilst taking advantage of the special tax status of the TESP. It could be used, for example, by parents or grandparents to build a nest-egg for a child’s education or first home deposit. Alternatively, you may want to save for something special such as a cruise, or perhaps as part of your retirement planning.

Please remember that the TESP is a long-term investment and if cashed in early, you may get back less than you’ve paid in.

Please follow this link for further details and an application pack.

Alternatively if you would like some advice please contact our sales manager Robert Johnson on 01226 741000 or email rjohnson@sheffieldmutual.com
